The Cutest Frog in the World

This adorable, grumpy, squeaky, inflating amphibian is called an African rain frog. I fell in love with these cute frogs after seeing a video of one puffing up and squeaking. I had to make a unit study about it. Now you and your kindergarten through second grade students scan enjoy learning about this silly animal while covering all the core subjects: language arts, science, math, geography, and art.  I started working on this pre-covid. Life got busy, we decided to start our home remodel and now, a couple years later, I have finally finished unit study.

This download has lots of fun projects for you. Including a cute fictional story that I wrote and illustrated. Its called The Case of the Missing Hot Chocolate: An African Rain Frog Mystery. I sketched out the illustrations on paper, uploaded them to Photoshop, then added the color - such a fun project to create. I also include some worksheets to go along with this story where students will fine tune those language arts skill such as letter blends, contractions, suffixes, and reading comprehension. You will also find geography, science, math, art, reading, and writing worksheets and activities.
