Pysanky are decorated Easter eggs. It is an art technique that uses a wax resist method. You draw designs with a kistka tool. As you decorate and color, your artwork becomes black and covered with wax which builds the anticipation to the reveal when you heat and wipe away the wax to see the color and patterns emerge.
