How To Get Your Kids To Love School!

At the beginning of the school year I always ask my kids to give me a list of things they want to learn about. Sometimes they come up with some interesting ideas.

Recently my 9 year old told me he wants to learn whittling and wants to be a whittler when he grows up....this made me smile. Maybe he will inspire others and bring back this pioneer pastime or at the least entertain him long enough for a school lesson. So guess what I am creating for him? A whittling unit study. He can read about it, write about it, do some whittling, and study the history of it (whittling Unit Study coming soon). My kids love to learn because I tailor it to their interests. I share my unit studies with you so your kids can love it too!
